Other Assessment at UGA

UGA assesses student learning, growth, and development across many programs and services in addition to academic degree and certificate programs.

Learning in the General Education Core Curriculum is assessed under Academic Policy 01.06.003 by the faculty Curriculum Committee of the University Council in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Instruction.

The UGA Division of Student Affairs, which plays an essential role in UGA student development, has a robust system of assessment for measuring and enhancing the impact of the myriad programs and services it provides for students.

The UGA Office of Institutional Research tracks important metrics of student achievement that guide the development of UGA programs that support students in achieving their educational goals in a timely manner.
